Le stress professionnel est un processus qui va de l’état de tensions, de préoccupations et d’activation jusqu’à l’épuisement. Il naît dans les transactions entre l’individu et les demandes de son environnement professionnel telles qu’il les perçoit. Notre enquête par questionnaire en ligne auprès de 510 agents souligne que le stress est favorisé par les tensions du côté des changements du travail et que les restructurations de services avec mouvements du personnel sont les changements récents les plus fréquemment cités. Cette catégorie de tensions correspond aussi à des scores d’accomplissement personnel bas et de hauts scores d’épuisement émotionnel.

Summary, etc. This study explores how organizational changes are experienced by staff within a psychiatric hospital. Occupational stress is a process that begins with a state of tension, concern, and activation and concludes with exhaustion. It originates in the transactions between individuals and the demands of their professional environments as they are perceived. Our online questionnaire survey of 510 employees affirms that stress is catalyzed by tensions caused by work changes, with departmental restructuring and staff movements being the most frequently cited. This category of tension also corresponds to low personal achievement scores and high emotional exhaustion scores.

El estrés laboral es un proceso que va desde un estado de tensiones, preocupaciones y de activación hasta el agotamiento. Surge de las transacciones entre el individuo y las expectativas de su entorno profesional tales como las percibe. Nuestra encuesta en línea a 510 agentes señala que el estrés se ve favorecido por las tensiones relacionadas con los cambios en el lugar del trabajo, y que la reestructuración de los departamentos y la rotación de personal son los cambios recientes más citados. Esta categoría de estrés también se corresponde con puntuaciones bajas en realización personal y altas en agotamiento emocional.
