| Summary, etc. | Une fois l’insuffisance cardiaque ou rénale installée, la prévention du syndrome cardio-rénal repose sur l’identification précoce des déséquilibres hémodynamiques, neurohormonaux et électrolytiques susceptibles d’amplifier la défaillance croisée. L’objectif est de préserver un équilibre thérapeutique entre le contrôle des signes cliniques, l’optimisation de la perfusion tissulaire, et la limitation des effets indésirables médicamenteux. Une approche individualisée, fondée sur une surveillance clinique et biologique régulière (pression artérielle, créatininémie, ionogramme, SDMA, etc.), permet d’ajuster les traitements cardiaques (IECA, diurétiques, spironolactone, etc.) et néphroprotecteurs (adaptation diététique, contrôle de la phosphatémie, supplémentation ciblée). Cette stratégie vise à limiter la progression du syndrome cardio-rénal et à maintenir la qualité de vie de l’animal. |

| Summary, etc. | Once cardiac or renal insufficiency is established, preventing cardiorenal syndrome involves early detection of hemodynamic, neurohormonal, and electrolyte imbalances that can worsen reciprocal organ dysfunction. The goal is to maintain therapeutic balance by controlling clinical signs, optimising tissue perfusion, and minimising drug-related adverse effects. An individualised approach, guided by regular clinical and biochemical monitoring (blood pressure, creatinine, SDMA, electrolytes…) allows tailored adjustments of cardiac treatments (ACE inhibitors, diuretics, spironolactone…) and nephroprotective treatments (dietary management, phosphate control, targeted supplementation). This strategy aims to limit CRS progression and preserve the patient’s quality of life. |
