Dans un second volet, il aborde le sujet actuel et brûlant des liens soi-disant nécessaires entre religions et violence. Enfin, il évoque le dialogue interreligieux, soulignant qu’espérer la paix, projet humainement réalisable, relève cependant d’un acte de foi en quelque sorte religieux. |

| Summary, etc. | On the occasion of the 40th anniversary of Pacem in Terris (11 April 1963), Cardinal Godfried Danneels offers a suggestive re-reading of this encyclical. He follows this by taking up the difficult and highly topical theme of the supposedly necessary links between religions and violence. Finally he evokes inter-religious dialogue, highlighting the fact that hoping for peace, a humanly feasible project, nevertheless proceeds from a kind of religious act of faith. |
