| Summary, etc. | Cet article s’inscrit dans une perspective clinique et historique pour restituer une vision de la guerre d’Algérie (1954-1962) telle qu’elle a été vécue « à hauteur d’enfant ». Il reconstitue également la trajectoire d’une famille prise dans un destin de harkis, depuis sa communauté rurale jusqu’à son exil en France dans différents lieux de relégation. Le récit met en évidence des amnésies et traumas faisant l’objet d’une transmission transgénérationnelle tout en révélant la persistance de ressentiments inhérents aux blessures générées par l’Histoire. Il illustre ainsi un aspect des difficultés de conciliation des mémoires à cause d’une guerre qui a diffracté les liens familiaux depuis le contexte colonial et, au-delà, dans l’exil tout en modifiant le jeu des liens dans les dimensions horizontales et transgénérationnelles. |

| Summary, etc. | This paper adopts a clinical and historical perspective to report on a vision of the Algerian War (1954-1962) as it was experienced from a child’s point of view. It also traces the trajectory of a family caught up in the fate of the Harkis, from their rural community to their exile in France in various places to which they were relegated. The narrative highlights the amnesia and trauma that have been passed down through generations, while revealing the persistence of resentment inherent in the wounds inflicted by history. It thus illustrates one aspect of the difficulties of reconciling memories due to a war that has riven family ties since the colonial context, and beyond, into exile, while also modifying the interplay of such ties in horizontal and transgenerational dimensions. |
