| Summary, etc. | La formation sacerdotale doit non seulement promouvoir chez le candidat une familiarité avec la Bible, mais aussi lui apprendre à discerner la Parole de Dieu dans les Écritures, par une méthode analogue à celle des Exercices spirituels de saint Ignace (I). Par ailleurs, pareil discernement suppose l’engagement de la foi et le déploiement de la raison, capable de reconnaître la Parole de Dieu (II). Enfin, l’A. voit dans la doctrine des quatre sens la méthode rationnelle pour y parvenir. |

| Summary, etc. | The priestly formation must aim at promoting in the candidate a familiarity with the Bible. It must also teach him to discern God’s Word in the Scriptures through a method akin to the ignatian method found in the Spiritual Exercises. Such a discernment which leads to recognise God’s Word relies both on faith and on reason... and usefully resorts to the four senses of Scripture. |
