Sa situation, ses accents spécifiques, sa cohérence et sa vigueur méritent d’être mieux connus. L’article considère le rapport de ce discours avec ce qui le précède. Puis il en commente le déroulement au fil de quatre sections qu’on peut y distinguer. Il souligne leur articulation, ainsi que la portée décisive de l’invitation à imiter notre Père miséricordieux, dans son lien avec la «règle d’or». L’ensemble du texte aide à interpréter cette dernière dans la perspective lucanienne. |

| Summary, etc. | The «discourse in the plain» from Luke 6,20-49, shorter than that of Matthew (5-7) «on the mountain», is less frequently referred to. It is presented in a different narrative framework. Its position, its specific overtones, its coherence and its vigour deserve to be better known. The article considers the relationship of this discourse with what precedes it. Then it comments on its progress in the course of four sections which may be distinguished within it. The article emphasises their structure as well as the decisive bearing of the invitation to imitate our merciful Father, in its connection with the «golden rule». The totality of the text helps to interpret this rule in Luke’s perspective. |
