Summary, etc. The authors carried out a literature review of sources published in the last ten years focusing on epidemiological studies looking at the link between exposure to pesticides among agricultural workers and depression. Of the 27 articles analyzed, 21 (78%) demonstrated a positive association. The pesticides most frequently connected to such an association were organophosphates, herbicides, and pyrethroids.
