L’article examine la filière poétique de ce nom dans un phénomène d’intertextualité entre Jon 1,3 – Jonas fuyant en bateau vers Tarsis – et Is 60,8-9 où les bateaux de Tarsis affluant vers Jérusalem sont assimilés à des colombes volant vers leurs colombiers. Jonas est ainsi la colombe qui vole à contresens. Ce faisant, il s’inscrit en faux dans l’universalisme qui se déclare en Is 50-66, et dans le dessein divin. |

The articles examines the poetic context of this name in a phenomenon of intertextuality between Jon 1,3 – Jonah fleeing in a boat to Tarsis – and Is 60, 8-9 where the boats of Tarsis sailing towards Jerusalem are assimilated into doves flying towards their dovecotes. Jonah is, therefore, the dove which is flying in the opposite direction. In so doing, he sets himself against the universalism expressed in Is 50-66, and in God’s plan. |
