| Summary, etc. | Edith Stein n’a pas écrit d’œuvre ecclésiologique à proprement parler, mais ses réflexions sur le rapport entre personne et communauté, ainsi que sur la responsabilité personnelle donnent une impulsion pour repenser la place de la prière dans la vie de l’Église. La reprise de trois textes steiniens ( Liberté et grâce de 1921, La prière de l’Église et le dernier chapitre d’ Être fini et être éternel de 1936) montre que les membres vivants du Corps mystique sont libres et responsables aussi par leur prière. |

| Summary, etc. | The responsibility of prayer in the ecclesiology of Edith SteinEdith Stein did not write an ecclesiological work strictly speaking, but her reflections on the relation between person and community, as well as on personal responsibility, give a stimulus to rethink the place of prayer in the life of the Church. Taking up again three of Edith Stein’s texts ( Freedom and Grace in 1921, Prayer in the Church and the last chapter of Finite Being and Eternal Being in 1936) shows that the living members of the mystical Body are free and responsible by their prayer. |
