| Summary, etc. | Résumé En juin 1943, Pierre Lebugle, aide familial sur la modeste ferme laitière de ses parents à Camembert (Orne), est requis par le Service du Travail Obligatoire. Envoyé dans une grande exploitation proche de Berlin, son univers quotidien passe des herbages du Pays d’Auge à la grande culture du Neumark. 21 mois durant, Pierre Lebugle avec trois camarades de la même commune, participe aux travaux des champs dans un contexte relativement privilégié qu’il consigne dans son journal jusqu’à son retour en Normandie après un périple qui le conduit jusqu’à Moscou. |

| Summary, etc. | In June 1943, Pierre Lebugle, a hand on the little dairy farm of his parents situated in Cambert (Orne,) was required for the Service du Travail Obligatoire. Sent to a very large farm near Berlin, his everyday life moved from the pastures of Pays d’Auge to the cash crops in Neumark. For 21 months, Pierre Lebugle and three friends from his village took part in farm work in a relatively privileged context, which he recorded in his diary, kept until his return home after travelling all the way to Moscow. |
