| Summary, etc. | RésuméÀ travers l’exemple de la mise en valeur des biens de l’abbaye bénédictine de Saint-Vincent du Mans dans le nord-est de la Sarthe, sont examinées sur le long terme les modalités de la reconstruction entreprise après les guerres anglaises du bas Moyen Âge (« Guerre de Cent Ans ») et de la patiente constitution d’un ensemble d’exploitations de bonne taille pour cette région. Sont évaluées les conséquences des différentes politiques d’amodiation sur la structure agraire locale et sur les revenus que l’abbaye tire de ce terroir. |

| Summary, etc. | The modes of rural reconstruction after the English Wars of the Late Middle Ages in France (“Hundred-Year War”), and of the farm expansions that took place thereafter, are analyzed using the practices recorded in acts of Saint Vincent’s Abbey in Le Mans, and developed on sites to the north-east of the province of Maine (Sarthe). The paper then assesses the effects of various leasing policies on the local agrarian structure and the rents of the abbey. |

| Summary, etc. | ResumenBasándose en el ejemplo de las posesiones del monasterio benedictino de Saint Vincent de Le Mans sitas en pueblos del nordeste de la provincia del Maine (Oeste de Francia), se describen en la larga duración los efectos de la reconstrucción rural después de las guerras inglesas (“Guerra de cien años”) caracterizados por la paciente creación de explotación de un buen tamaño para esta región. Se estima los efectos de las diferentes políticas de arrendamiento en la estructura agraria de la comarca y en los ingresos del monasterio. |
