| Summary, etc. | Entre la dernière phase de la colonisation japonaise et l’arrivée à Taïwan du gouvernement nationaliste dirigé par Tchang Kai-chek, la danse a eu pour mission d’aider le pouvoir politique à s’enraciner dans la terre taïwanaise en participant aux transitions culturelles, sociales et politiques de la société. Pour autant, l’Empire japonais et le Parti nationaliste ne cherchant pas à récolter les mêmes fruits, semèrent leurs graines différemment. S’appuyant sur l’idée que le corps, y compris le corps féminin qui danse, est un terrain de recherche permettant de dévoiler le processus de transition d’une société, cet article cherche à comprendre les transformations de la société taïwanaise au travers des politiques imposées par le pouvoir sur la pratique de la danse entre les années 1930 et les années 1950. |

| Summary, etc. | Between the last phase of Japanese colonization and the arrival in Taiwan of the nationalist government led by Chiang Kai-shek, dance was assigned the mission of helping the political power to take root on Taiwanese land through its contribution to the cultural, social and political upheavals of the society. However, as the Japanese Empire and the Nationalist Party sought to reap different results, they planted their seeds in different pastures. Assuming that the body, including the dancing female body, can unveil the transition process of a society, this article aims to understand the changes experienced by Taiwanese society by focusing on the policies imposed on the practice of dance from the 1930s to the 1950s. |
