| Summary, etc. | Cet article analyse les effets du dispositif Cordées de la réussite sur des élèves de 3e scolarisés en Réseau d’éducation prioritaire (REP) dans un collège des Bouches-du-Rhône. À travers une analyse qualitative des entretiens semi-directifs menés auprès de 19 élèves, l’étude examine les perceptions des participants, ainsi que les effets du dispositif sur leur développement personnel et leurs choix d’orientation. Les résultats montrent que, bien que le dispositif soit généralement perçu de manière positive, son efficacité varie en fonction de la qualité des relations établies avec les mentors et du degré d’engagement des élèves dans les activités proposées. L’étude met en lumière l’importance du mentorat et des activités adaptées pour encourager l’ambition scolaire et réduire l’autocensure chez les élèves issus de milieux défavorisés. |

| Summary, etc. | This article explores the effects of the Cordées de la réussite program on 9th-grade students enrolled in a Priority Education Network (REP) school in South of France. Through a qualitative analysis of semi-structured interviews conducted with 19 students, the study examines the participants’ perceptions and the program’s effects on their personal development and career choices. The results show that, although the program is generally perceived positively, its effectiveness varies depending on the quality of relationships established with mentors and the level of student engagement in the activities offered. The study highlights the importance of mentorship and tailored activities to encourage academic ambition and reduce self-censorship among students from disadvantaged backgrounds. Recommendations are proposed to enhance the program’s effectiveness, including increased mentor training and a diversification of activities. |
