| Summary, etc. | RésuméLa présence du corps dans le cadre psychanalytique s’affirme de différentes manières. Les odeurs « diffusées » par les patients n’ont pratiquement jamais retenu l’attention des psychanalystes. Hormis Didier Anzieu, qui consacre un chapitre à ce problème dans le Moi-Peau, cette question ne semble pas avoir fait l’objet d’une conceptualisation particulière.À l’aide d’exemples cliniques nous pouvons voir combien ces émanations archaïques du corps sont porteuses de sens et combien leur rôle est important dans notre élaboration contre-transférentielle.Les odeurs ont un rôle défensif contre les mouvements pulsionnels d’agressivité et d’angoisse de mort, ainsi que dans les manœuvres défensives complexes de séduction. |

| Summary, etc. | In the framework of psychoanalysis the body’s presence is affirmed in different ways. Smells “diffused” by patients, have practically never been in the focus of psychoanalysts. Except for Didier Anzieu who dedicated a chapter on this problem in Le Moi Peau (Ego Skin), this issue does not seem to have been specifically conceptualized.With the help of clinical examples we can now see how these archaic bodily emanations have meaning and how important their role in our counter-transference elaboration. Smells have a defensive function against impulsive movements charged with aggressiveness and death anxiety and in the complex defensive maneuvers of seduction. |
