| Summary, etc. |
| 520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC. | |
| Summary, etc. | The research of the group on the emergence of language of CIPPA invites to think how necessary are bodily supports for the autistics people beginning to speak. Tonic reflexes and unconsciously used bodily substances are a way to express something that the therapist has to translate into sharable emotional experiences. In this way, body’s psychic investment when the patient meets someone is increased. The various movements felt in the mouth can be coordinated and by integrating this coordination the patient can feel the pleasure of vocalizations. Body anchoring becomes less necessary when therapist’s actions and comments lead to representative work of patient’s vanishing fears in the relationship. |
