| 520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC. | |
| Summary, etc. |
| 520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC. | |
| Summary, etc. | The importance of the therapeutic alliance in psychological care is well known. In the field of child psychiatry it implies considerable work with the patients’ families. Participant observation of children with severe development disorders and their parents within a group formation enables the emergence of an original framework: friendly, supportive and transitional, and a particular posture among benevolent caregivers, active in a relationship aiming to be balanced. In this context, the contribution of transcultural references underlines the importance of free and non-judgmental communication between parents with a history of exile and caregivers, and of taking into account the parents’ cultural references. It also points to the need for caregivers to de-centre. Transcultural thinking casts light on the role of co-construction of the therapeutic alliance and care with families that are sometimes viewed as reluctant or averse towards treatment. |
| 520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC. | |
| Summary, etc. |
