Summary, etc. Le déploiement des Technologies de l’Innovation et de la Communication (TIC) permet aux organisations d’avoir recours à un fournisseur singulier : la foule. Il est alors question de crowdsourcing pour qualifier cette forme d’externalisation. En matière de crowdsourcing tous les individus parmi la foule sont susceptibles d’apporter leurs ressources et compétences afin de générer de la valeur pour une organisation. Tandis que la contribution de la foule s’exerce dans de nombreux registres, notre recherche s’intéresse plus spécifiquement à la mobilisation de la foule dans un processus de collecte d’informations marketing. Dans une perspective qualitative, fondée sur l’étude de cas Clic and Walk, nous analysons les caractéristiques et les enjeux associés à cette modalité de crowdsourcing.Codes JEL : O32

Summary, etc. The omnipresence of Information and Communications Technology (ICT) offers the possibility for organizations to have recourse to a particular supplier: the crowd. This is called crowdsourcing. It consists in outsourcing tasks to a large network of Internet users. With crowdsourcing, everyone from the crowd may offer their skills and resources to generate value for an organization. While the contribution of the crowd can be used in many ways, our research focuses specifically on the mobilization of the crowd in a marketing information gathering process. From a qualitative perspective, based on the case study of Clic and Walk, we analyze the characteristics and issues associated with this form of crowdsourcing.JEL Codes: O32
