| Summary, etc. | Notre étude s’intéresse aux manières dont les acteurs d’un lycée professionnel de milieu défavorisé, les élèves comme les professionnels de l’éducation, s’emparent d’un dispositif spécifique d’éducation à la citoyenneté, dénommé « Ateliers Démocratiques pour une Expression Réflexive ». La démarche méthodologique croise des données d’entretiens et filmées afin d’analyser les points de vue des acteurs et les modalités effectives de mise en œuvre du dispositif par les enseignants. Les principaux résultats mettent en évidence une reconfiguration du dispositif en contexte, qui tend à privilégier chez les élèves la sollicitation des compétences citoyennes au détriment des compétences argumentatives. Au-delà sont questionnés les conditions et empêchements de la mise en place d’une véritable démarche d’enquête par les enseignants au sein du dispositif ADER dans la perspective d’alimenter le travail d’accompagnement des acteurs dans la seconde phase de la recherche collaborative. |

| Summary, etc. | Our study explores the ways in which pupils and teaching professionals in a vocational high school located in an underprivileged area engage with a specific citizenship education approach known as Democratic Workshops for Reflective Expression (Ateliers Démocratiques pour une Expression Réflexive – ADER). The methodology uses data from interviews and videos to analyse stakeholders’ viewpoints and the practical implementation of the system by teaching staff. The main results highlight a reconfiguration of the system in context, whereby pupils tend to seek citizenship skills rather than argumentation skills. We also explore the conditions for, and barriers to, the implementation of an effective survey process by teachers as part of the ADER system, with a view to contributing to support for stakeholders in the second phase of collaborative research. |
