| Summary, etc. | RésuméEn 2000, 150 000 à 200 000 Albanais provenant de l’ex-Yougoslavie vivaient en Suisse. La plupart d’entre eux étaient originaires du Kosovo. Le présent article éclaire le contexte social et les projets de ce groupe de population, sur une période de trente ans qui correspond à leur arrivée progressive en Suisse. Au début, de jeunes Albanais du Kosovo ont surtout émigré pour trouver un travail saisonnier. Après avoir connu des situations dramatiques au cours de ces dix dernières années, aujourd’hui, grâce à la reprise économique et la fin de l’exode, l’émigration albanaise en Suisse connaît moins de problèmes. |

| Summary, etc. | In the year 2000, 150 000 to 200 000 Albanians from ex-Yugoslavia were living in Switzerland. Most of them were originating from Kosovo. The present article highlights the social context and plans of this population over a period of thirty years corresponding to their progressive arrival in Switzerland. At the beginning young Albanians generally emigrated from Kosovo to find a seasonal work. After having experienced dramatic situations during these past ten years, Albanian immigrants meet with less difficulties today in Switzerland thanks to the economic revival and the end of the exodus. |

| Summary, etc. | ZusammenfassungIm Jahre 2000 wohnten ungefähr 150 000 bis 200 000 Albaner aus Ex-Yugoslawien in der Schweiz. Die meisten von ihnen stammen aus dem Kosovo. Der Artikel handelt vom sozialen Umfeld und den Migrationsprojekten dieser Gruppe, die in den letzten dreissig Jahren in die Schweiz immigriert ist. Es stehen jedoch nicht nur die ökonomische Entwicklung und die Migrationspolitik in der Schweiz zur Diskussion, sondern der Artikel befasst sich ebenfalls mit andern wichtigen Kriterien wie die ökonomische, politische und militärische Situation im Balkan. Zu Beginn sind junge Kosovo-Albaner insbesondere als Saisonnier emigriert. Während der letzten zehn Jahre jedoch war die albanische Immigration in die Schweiz von dramatischen Umständen begleitet : unvorhergesehene und plötzliche Familienzusammenführungen verbanden sich mit einer massiven Asylwelle. Heute erleichtern der ökonomische Aufschwung und das Ende des Exodus die Integration der Migranten in der Schweiz. |
