| Summary, etc. | RésuméCette étude des étapes successives de l’architecture populaire ukrainienne, en particulier religieuse (principalement en bois), met au jour un modèle dominant que l’on retrouve dans l’art ukrainien en général. Ayant choisi de s’attacher à des édifices qui s’inscrivent dans une continuité historique (du Moyen Âge à nos jours), l’auteur analyse matériaux, formes et styles, démontrant ainsi que l’architecture traditionnelle est un élément majeur de la construction et de la préservation de l’identité nationale. |

| Summary, etc. | This study of the successive stages of Ukrainian folk architecture and more especially religious architecture (mainly in wood) reveals a predominant model in architecture and arts in general. The author concentrates on buildings presenting a historical continuity (from the early Middle Ages to the present day) ; she analyzes their materials, forms and styles and shows that traditional architecture is a most important factor in the construction and preservation of Ukrainians’ national identity. |

| Summary, etc. | ZusammenfassungDiese Studie der suksessiven Etappen ukrainischer Volksarchitektur und insbesondere religiöser Architektur (vor allem aus Holz) hebt ein Hauptmodell deutlich hervor, das sich in ukrainischer Kunst im allgemeinen wiederfindet. Die Autorin interessiert sich für Bauten, die eine historische Kontinuität (vom Mittelalter bis in unsere Tage) zeigen. Sie analysiert ihre Materialien, Formen und Stilen und zeigt, dass die traditionelle Architektur von entscheidender Bedeutung für die Entstehung und Erhaltung der nationalen Identität ist. |
