| Summary, etc. | RésuméDurant les années quatre-vingt-dix, la Grèce devient la destination privilégiée d’un très grand nombre d’émigrés albanais. Dans la commune agricole de Guerbessi, les Arvanites (Grecs d’ancienne origine albanaise) définissent ces immigrés en tant que culturellement proches d’eux à travers un idiome commun – la langue arvanite – et leur idéologie de gauche. La reconnaissance, par les Arvanites, de cette proximité culturelle, leur donne les moyens de contrôler et de gérer cette émigration, ainsi que les rapports de travail qu’ils entretiennent avec les Albanais. Ce contexte contribue, pour chaque communauté, à redéfinir ses relations avec l’État grec et à développer son identité locale au sein de la modernité. |

| Summary, etc. | Greece became the privileged destination of a great number of Albanian migrants in the nineties. In the agricultural commune of Guerbessi, the Arvanites (Greeks of ancient Albanese origin) recognize these immigrants as culturally related to them through a common idiom – the Arvanite language – and their left ideology. This recognition enables them to control and manage this immigration and their work relationships with Albanians. In this context, the local community redefinies its relationships with the Greek State and reconstructs its identity. |

| Summary, etc. | ZusammenfassungIn den 1990er Jahren wurde Griechenland zum bevorzugten Bestimmungsland zahlreicher albanischer Immigranten. In der landwirtschaftlichen Gemeinde von Guerbessi erkennen sich die Arbaniten (Griechen alter albanischer Herkunft) als durch einen gemeinsamen Idiom – die arbanitische Sprache – und ihre Linksideologie mit diesen Immigranten kulturell verwandt an. Diese Anerkennung ermöglicht ihnen diese Immigration, sowie ihre Arbeitsbeziehungen mit den Albanern zu kontrollieren und managen. Dieser Kontext ermöglicht jeder Gemeinschaft, ihre Beziehungen zum griechischen Staat neu zu bestimmen und ihre lokale Identität innerhalb der Modernität zu entwickeln. |
