| Summary, etc. | Résumé Le système de parenté propre à la société de Damgan, en Bretagne du Sud, repose sur les asymétries « frère/sœur », « mari/femme », « oncle/beau-frère » et « beau-père/oncle ». La parenté inclut le lien de consanguinité et, par extension, celui d’affinité. Lorsque l’une et l’autre se transforment, les liens de parenté en sont directement affectés. Jusque dans le milieu des années cinquante, la permanence de l’unité sociale était assurée par les couples qui, de génération en génération, vivaient sur une même terre et étaient liés par la reconduction des « lignées de froment » et par le culte des morts. Cet article est issu, d’une part, de matériaux collectés sur le terrain lors d’enquêtes successives depuis 1991 ; d’autre part, d’une réflexion nourrie, dans le domaine de l’anthropologie, durant de longues années, sur le thème de la consanguinité et de l’affinité. |

| Summary, etc. | The kinship system proper to the Damgan society in southern Brittany is based on the « brother/sister », « husband/wife », « uncle/brother-in-law » and « father-in-law/uncle » assymmetries. Kinship includes the bond of consanguinity and, by extension, of affinity. When both change they directly affect the bonds of kinship. Until the middle of the fifties the permanence of social unity was ensured by couples that lived on the same ground from generation to generation and were bonded by the renewal of « wheat lineages » and by the cult of the dead. This article is based both on materials collected since 1991 during successive field works and on a many years’ anthropological reflection on consanguinity and affinity. |

| Summary, etc. | ZusammenfassungDas der Damgangesellschaft in der Südbretagne eigentümliche Verwandtschaftssystem beruht auf den « Bruder/Schwester », « Ehemann/Ehefrau », « Onkel/Schwager », und « Schwiegervater/Onkel » Asymmetrien. Die Verwandtschaft schliesst das Band der Blutverwandtschaft und im weiterem Sinne der Affinität ein. Wenn beide sich ändern, dann werden die Verwanschaftsbande unmittelbar geändert. Bis in die Mitte der fünfziger Jahre war die Beständigkeit der sozialen Einheit von Paaren gesichert, die von Generation zu Generation auf demselben Land lebten und durch die Fortsetzung der « Weizenstämme » und den Totenkult gebunden waren. Dieser Artikel beruht auf Daten, die seit 1991 im Laufe sukkzessiver Feldstudien gesammelt wurden und auf einer vieljährigen anthropologischen Reflexion über die Themen der Blutverwandschaft und der Affinität. |
