| Summary, etc. | RésuméÀ partir des résultats d’une enquête ethnographique (1989-1996), cet article analyse les pratiques ritualisées mises en œuvre à l’occasion de la fermeture d’un établissement de music-hall à Paris, les Folies-Bergère, qui présentait des revues, et la création d’un nouveau spectacle, lors de sa réouverture temporaire. Les enjeux symboliques et sociaux des diverses transgressions, reproductions et innovations de ces deux représentations spécifiques (la dernière et la nouvelle revue) sont interprétés en fonction des mécanismes employés : inversion, intrusion, emprunts, et de leurs significations dans le contexte artistique et économique du moment. On constate que les faits observés apparaissent davantage comme le passage d’un statut à un autre pour l’établissement, et comme la fin d’une « maison » pour les employés, que comme la véritable disparition d’un genre sur la scène parisienne. |

| Summary, etc. | On the basis of an ethnographic survey carried out from 1989 to 1996 this article analyses the ritualized practices developed at the time of the closure of the Parisian music-hall The Folies-Bergère and the creation of a new spectacle for its temporary reopening. The symbolic and social stakes of various transgressions, reproductions or innovations of these two specific shows (the last and the new one) are interpreted according to the processess used : inversion, intrusion, borrowings, and to the social and economic context of the alive spectacle. The observed facts seem to signify a change of status for the theater and the end of a « house » for its employees, rather than the real disappearance of a genre on the Parisian stage. |

| Summary, etc. | ZusammenfassungAufgrund der Ergebnissen einer 1989-1996 durchgeführten ethnographischen Studie analysiert dieser Artikel die ritualisierten Praktiken, die bei der Schliessung des Pariser Variététheaters Les Folies-Bergère und seiner vorläufigen Wiederöffnung mit einer neuen Revue beobachtet wurden. Der symbolische und soziale Einsatz der verschiedenen Verstösse, Fortsetzungen und Neuerungen dieser zwei spezifischen Revuen (die letzte und die neue) wird im Verhältnis zu den benutzten Verfahren (Inversion, Intrusion, Anleihen) und zu dem sozialen und ökonomischen Kontext des lebendigen Spektakels interpretiert. Die beobachteten Handlungen bedeuten für das Theater einen Statuswechsel und für die Angestellten das Ende eines « Hauses » eher als das Verschwinden eines Genres auf der Pariser Bühne. |
