| Summary, etc. | RésuméL’auteur propose une analyse de la répartition sexuée des rôles et donc de la construction identitaire à Varsány (village traditionnel du nord de la Hongrie), à travers les modes de socialisation. L’enquête de terrain a été menée entre 1970 et 2004, dans le but d’étudier comment la modernité a transformé ce milieu : par exemple, la division du travail et l’asymétrie du pouvoir ont peu à peu perdu de leur rigidité. Mais ces changements sont restés superficiels. Deux phénomènes en témoignent. Le premier tient à l’insuffisance des salaires, qui a dévalué le prestige des emplois féminins et renvoyé la plupart des femmes vers la sphère domestique. Le second tient, dès l’enfance, aux stéréotypes d’éducation selon les sexes, dont un des traits marquants est le choix vestimentaire. |

| Summary, etc. | Gender roles in Varsány (1971-2004) : between tradition and modernity On the basis of socialization modes the author analyses the gender role distribution and therefore the identity construction in Varsány (a traditional village of Northern Hungary). From a 1970-2004 fieldwork conducted in order to study how modernity had changed this environment he notes, for example, that work division and power asymmetry are getting progressively less rigid. But these changes remained superficial, as shown by two facts : first, the insufficient salaries that resulted in the devaluation of female jobs and in the fact that most women were sent back into the domestic sphere ; second, the gender-specific stereotyps learned in childhood, of which the clothing choice is one of their striking features. |

| Summary, etc. | ZusammenfassungDer Autor analysiert die Genderrollenverteilung und daher die Identitätskonstruktion in Varsány (einem traditionellen Dorf in Nordungarn) auf der Basis der Sozialisierungsmoden. Aus der Feldstudie, die er von 1970 bis 2004 durchführte hat, um zu untersuchen, wie die Modernität diese Umwelt geändert hat, folgert er, zum Beispiel, dass die Arbeitsverteilung und die Machtasymmetrie allmählich ihre Rigidität verloren haben. Aber diese Änderungen sind oberflächlich geblieben, wie es zwei Tatsachen zeigen : einerseits die unzureichenden Löhne, die zu der Abwertung der Frauenarbeitsplätze und zu der Zurückschickung meister Frauen in die Haussphäre geführt haben ; andererseits die geschlechtspezifische Stereotypen, die von Kindheit an gelehrt werden, von denen die Kleidungswahl unter anderem ein auffälliges Zeichen ist. |
