Les touristes italiens qui effarouchent les pigeons ramiers en les empêchant de se poser sur les châtaigneraies ? Les voisins de la commune d’à côté, avec leurs « battues et contre-battues » printanières ? Les jeunes du village qui déchargent leur fusil sur n’importe quoi ? Dans l’imaginaire insulaire, chez les derniers représentants de la chasse « traditionnelle », la raréfaction de certaines espèces se traduit par une véritable théorie du complot. À l’origine de la « dénaturation » de l’île, perçue comme le signe avant-coureur d’une apocalypse culturelle, on trouve toujours l’Autre. |
