Tandis que les citadins et les autorités publiques sont plutôt en faveur d’une stricte protection de ces animaux, les ruraux et les éleveurs de rennes Sames déplorent de plus en plus les préjudices causés par leur présence. Malgré la politique nationale de protection, le nombre de loups tués illégalement augmente chaque année. Aussi peut-on parler aujourd’hui en Suède d’un conflit à dimension ethnique qui divise la société entre urbanité et ruralité. |

| Summary, etc. | ZusammenfassungDie Anzahl der Wölfe hat in Schweden in den letzten Jahren stetit zugenommen, was zahlreiche gesellschaftliche Konflikte mitsichgebracht hat. Während die städtische Bevölkerung und die öffentliche Hand sich für einen strikten Schutz der Tiere aussprechen, betonen die ländliche Bevölkerung und die samischen Renntierzüchter verstärkt die von den Wölfen angerichteten Schäden. Trotz der staatlichen Politik des Artenschutzes steigt die Zahl der illegal getöteten Wölfe jährlich. Hinzu kommt, dass es sich mehr und mehr um einen Konflikt mit ethnischer Dimension handelt, der die Gesellschaft in Stadt- und Landbevölkerung spaltet. |
