| Summary, etc. | RésuméDe petites Australiennes s’amusent en écoutant de la musique pop dans un centre d’accueil périscolaire. Or, au travers de cette pratique, appréhendée comme un « jeu sérieux », elles tentent de transformer et de s’approprier cet espace institutionnel, et d’en contester les rapports de pouvoir, tant sur le plan musical que sur le plan sexuel. L’auteure présente quelques-uns de leurs jeux avant de conclure que leur implication dans cette activité périscolaire est la manifestation, sur fond de rapports de pouvoir fluctuants, d’une opposition à une croyance occidentale : l’absence de sexualité chez l’enfant. |

| Summary, etc. | This article explores the musical practices of pre-teen girls in an Australian after school care centre. The girls’ practices constituted “serious play” as they attempted to transform and reconfigure the space and challenge the power relations of the institutional setting both musically and sexually. After providing a snapshot of the girls’ play, the article concludes that their musical engagement in after school care was related to constantly shifting fields of power and a struggle over western cultural beliefs regarding asexual childhood. |

| Summary, etc. | ZusammenfassungJunge Australierinnen amüsieren sich gerne indem sie in außerschulischen Freizeitzentren Popmusik hören. Diese Aktivität, die als „ernstes Spiel“ wahrgenommen wird, dient den Mädchen als Mittel der Bestimmung sowohl des freizeitlichen Raumes als auch der Affirmation der eigenen musikalischen sowie geschlechtlichen Wahrnehmung. Der Autor dieses Beitrags beschäftigt sich mit einigen musikalischen Spielen, zeigt ihren Einfluss und ihre Bedeutung für die außerschulischen Aktivitäten auf und schlussfolgert daraus, dass es eine Opposition gegen die bislang vorherrschende westliche Sichtweise des Nichtvorhandenseins von Sexualität bei Jugendlichen gibt. |
