La mise sur le marché concurrentiel d’activités précédemment réservées au secteur public, les nouvelles formes de traitement des informations (logiciels de gestion, plates‑formes téléphoniques), ont, comme dans bien d’autres domaines d’activité, des effets considérables sur les collectifs de travail et les savoir‑faire. Ces transformations, dès qu’elles concernent la production d’un propre et d’un sale, ont des incidences précises sur les espaces, leur constitution et, au‑delà, sur les hommes en tant qu’habitants. |

The example of a rural area shows how the new work organisation generates spatial transformations. These changes affect the production of order and cleanliness, transform local communities, territorial affiliations, and geographical location of the inhabitants. |
