À partir d’observations directes (2017, 2018 et 2019), d’entretiens avec des festayres, des cafetiers et des membres de l’administration de la ville, et d’un dépouillement du principal journal local, cet article montre comment se pose le problème des mictions sauvages au cours des fêtes. Après avoir examiné comment la mairie tente de contrôler ce phénomène, l’article met l’accent sur la stratégie normative de « rappel à l’hygiène », équivalent moderne des manuels de savoir-vivre mobilisés par Norbert Elias. |

Based on direct observations (2017, 2018 and 2019), interviews with festayres, members of the City Council, bartenders, and a review of the main local newspaper, this article first describes the practice of urinating in public during the festivities. After examining the City Council’s attempts to contain the issue, the article highlights the role played by a normative strategy, the modern equivalent of the handbook on good manners in Norbert Elias’s work. |
