| Summary, etc. | Les concierges (nawāṭīr) syriens sont au cœur de l’urbanité beyrouthine : pourvoyeurs de services de proximité pour les habitants des immeubles résidentiels, ils font office, depuis 2011, de « portes d’entrée sur la cité » pour les populations réfugiées de la guerre en Syrie. Cet article explore la dimension résidentielle du refuge syrien à Beyrouth à partir du rôle d’interface des concierges. Dans un premier temps, je reviens sur l’évolution du métier dans les stratégies migratoires des exilés syriens, avant d’examiner en second lieu, la position urbaine charnière qu’ils occupent aujourd’hui dans l’accès à la ville des réfugiés qui y résident. |

| Summary, etc. | Syrian janitors (nawāṭīr) are at the very core of the urban life of Beirut: they provide local services for the building residents, and since 2011, they hold the keys of the city for the newcomers who have flew the war in Syria. This article explores the Syrian refuge in Beirut through its residential dimension, based on the intermediary role of the janitors. First, I present how this profession has been affected by the changing of the migratory strategies of Syrian people in Lebanon. Then, I examine the way by which they make it possible, for other urban refugees, to access to the city’s resources. |

| Summary, etc. | Los porteros ( nawāṭīr) están en el centro de la vida urbana beyrutina : proveedores de servicios de proximidad para los habitantes de los edificios residenciales, hacen oficio, desde 2011, de « puertas de entrada en la ciudad » para las poblaciones refugiadas de la guerra en Siria. Este articulo explora la dimensión residencial del refugio sirio en Beyrouth a partir del papel de intermediario de los porteros. En primer lugar me centro en la evolución del oficio en las estrategias migratorias de los exiliados sirios, en segundo lugar examino la posición urbana crucial que desempeñan hoy día en el acceso a la ciudad de los refugiados que viven en ella. |

| Summary, etc. | Die syrischen Concierges ( nawāṭīr) sind das Herzstück der Beiruter Urbanität: Sie erbringen lokale Dienstleistungen für die Bewohner von Wohnhäusern und fungieren seit 2011 als „Tor zur Stadt“ für die Flüchtlingsbevölkerung aus dem Syrienkrieg. Dieser Artikel untersucht die wohnliche Dimension der syrischen Zuflucht in Beirut anhand der Rolle der Hausmeister als Schnittstelle. Zunächst gehe ich auf die Entwicklung des Berufs in den Migrationsstrategien der syrischen Exilanten ein, bevor ich zweitens die zentrale urbane Position untersuche, die sie heute für den Zugang der dort lebenden Flüchtlinge zur Stadt einnehmen. |
