| Summary, etc. | This article explores the notion of diakonia as the theological foundation of ecclesial identity, based on the intuition of the Dominican theologian Yves Congar, namely: the Church is a people of diakonoi, that is, ministers at the service of one another. Drawing on biblical sources and the teachings of the Second Vatican Council, the article proposes a theology of ministries that is decentralized from ordination, in order to highlight the diversity of ministries stemming from baptism. The author associates this ministerial plurality with synodality, understood as a mode of co-responsibility and participation. Finally, it opens up an avenue based on Martha Nussbaum’s capability approach, suggesting that the Church’s mission is to recognize, support and develop the ministerial potential of every baptized person, in an inclusive and dynamic perspective. |

| Summary, etc. | Cet article explore la notion de diakonia comme fondement théologique de l’identité ecclésiale, en s’appuyant sur l’intuition du dominicain Yves Congar : l’Église est un peuple de diakonoi, c’est-à-dire de ministres au service les uns des autres. En croisant les sources bibliques et les enseignements du concile Vatican II, il propose une théologie des ministères décentrée de l’ordination, afin de mettre en valeur la diversité des services issus du baptême. L’auteur associe cette pluralité ministérielle à la synodalité, comprise comme un mode de coresponsabilité et de participation. Enfin, il ouvre une piste à partir de l’approche des capabilités de M. Nussbaum, suggérant que l’Église a pour mission de reconnaître, soutenir, et faire croître les potentialités ministérielles de chaque baptisé, dans une perspective inclusive et dynamique. |
