| Summary, etc. | RésuméLa conception de l’être humain sur laquelle se fondent les sciences économiques nous vient des Lumières. Aujourd’hui, elle se révèle obsolète. Cet article commence par examiner les sources de cette anthropologie, notamment la controverse entre augustinisme et humanisme.Ensuite, trois postulats sont contestés : 1) Au lieu que l’individu existe de lui-même par nature, la question d’exister se pose à lui, et il ne peut la résoudre par lui-même. 2) Au lieu de faire des choix rationnels indépendamment des autres, sa manière d’exister et de penser est liée à celles des autres. 3) Au lieu de se limiter naturellement par lui-même et d’être ainsi à même de vivre en bonne entente avec les autres, l’être humain est animé d’un désir d’exister sans limites.Enfin, l’article propose quelques remarques sur l’argent et sur le fait que lorsque tout le monde dérive ensemble, personne n’a conscience de dériver. |

| Summary, etc. | The Enlightenment has provided the conception of human being on which economic sciences are grounded. Two centuries and a half later, it appears that this anthropology is obsolete. This paper begins by examining the sources of this anthropology, in particular the controversy between augustinism and humanism.Then, it challenges three postulates : first, instead of having a naturally given certainty of existing, human being is deeply concerned by the question of existing and cannot solve it by himself alone. Second, instead of making rational choices independently of others, his way of being and thinking depend of those of others. Third, instead of being able to limiting himself naturally and, therefore able to live in harmony whith others, human being is animated by a boudless desire of existing.Finally, the paper presents some remarks on money and on the fact that, when people drift together, none of them is conscious of going adrift. |
