| Summary, etc. | Dans le discours de réception du « Prix National de Littérature» (Cuba), Nancy Morejón a défendu les deux idées qui guident son entreprise d’écrivaine : la lecture et l’écriture. L’acte de lecture remplit une fonction aussi vitale pour l’être humain que l’acte de respirer, de manger ou de se déplacer. L’acte d’écriture vise inlassablement à donner de la voix aux « sans-voix », à lutter contre toutes les oppressions, à rechercher partout et en tout lieu la paix – même si ce mot sonne aujourd’hui comme un sarcasme. |

| Summary, etc. | In her address at the reception of the National Prize for Literature in Cuba, Nancy Morejón defended the two ideas which have sustained her work as a writer : reading and writing. Reading is as vital for human beings as breathing, eating and walking. Writing unflaggingly aims at giving voice to the “voiceless”, fighting all forms of oppression and searching everywhere for peace however sarcastic the word may sound today. |
