| Summary, etc. |

| Summary, etc. | Psychoanalysis listens to BeckettThis paper intends to study the validation of the use of psychoanalysis to tackle literature. For this purpose, we will recall great moments of this tumultuous link, and focus particularly on Didier Anzieu’s book : Beckett (Seuil, 2003), first published as Beckett et le psychanalyste (Archimbaud/ Menta, 1992). It is the main psychoanalytic text on Samuel Beckett’s work. It contains the brilliant inventions but also the impasses which are those of the “applied psychoanalysis”. In a second stage, we will try, following the Pierre Bayard’s inverse provocative proposal, to apply Beckett’s literature to the psychoanalysis, in order to show how the author allows us to think some psycho- pathological manifestations of the voice in the frame of clinical experience of aging. For that purpose, we will base on many Beckett’s texts, which are sorts of scripts for a voice (That time, Krapp’s Last Tape, Company, etc.). And we will show how the author describes a particular - and not yet theorized - type of the “invoking drive” : “self-hearing”. This particular type would be related to the reminiscence encountered in pathological aging |
