| Summary, etc. |
| 520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC. | |
| Summary, etc. | Doubt and beliefIn front of the threat created by the loss of meaningfulness, a variety of strategies are at stake. The first one consists in continuing to be believing through the invention of “certainty prosthesis”, an attitude which constitutes, within the interpersonal as well as the social area, the source of the state of alienation in its various aspects. Being able to subvert the doubt as a unique truth requires reversing in its opposite the above option. It is an unfertile posture that of the despair’s nihilism, similar to the one that is often present during the adolescence period. If a perverse touch is added, one may be confronted to a cynical posture. Thanks to it, one is likely to enjoy, not only the certainty that no certainty exists, but the awareness of the omnipotence experienced when destroying others certainties. The fragility which is then denounced and even demonstrated, reinforces the unexpugnable solidity of one’s own posture. In this article, we want to show the fertility of the doubt’s experience, a paradox through which doubt and belief are united by the coincidence of the opposite. Not to take pleasure in a sterile obsessive ambivalence but by accepting to submit the belief to the doubt ordeal in order to possibly recover the strength of the origins evidence. |
