| Summary, etc. | Ces dernières années se sont développés des mouvements cherchant à mobiliser sur le changement climatique en portant un discours positif. Cet article vise à expliciter les problématiques psychosociales auxquelles sont confrontés les militants et militantes. Il explore les angoisses et sentiments de culpabilité éveillés par la crise climatique ainsi que les mécanismes de défense mis en place pour s’en protéger par les écologistes comme dans le reste de la population. Posant le rapport à l’angoisse comme socialement institué, il décrit les systèmes sociaux de défense en jeu et la manière dont ils organisent les relations entre écologistes et non-écologistes. Il propose enfin l’hypothèse que les différentes conceptions du changement social au sein des mouvements écologistes sont liées aux rapports que les militants entretiennent avec leurs propres angoisses. |

| Summary, etc. | Climate movements are incrinsingly using a positive approach to raising awareness on climate change. This article aims at analysing psycho-social issues at stake in positive communication. It explores anxieties and feelings of guilt raised by the climate crisis, and defense mechanisms used among ecologists, as well as in the rest of the population. Looking at anxiety as socially instituted, the article describes social defense systems at work in interactions between ecologists and non-ecologists. Finally, it suggests that conceptions of social change among climate movements may be bound to the way activists deal with their own anxiety. |
