| Summary, etc. | Cette contribution essaye de rendre compte de la façon dont, depuis l’an 2000 environ, la notion française de « discours » est devenue une notion clé en sciences sociales en Allemagne. Si Michel Foucault est perçu comme le représentant central de l’analyse du discours française par les Allemands, il n’est pas le seul théoricien français des années 70 à avoir connu un certain succès sur la scène intellectuelle allemande. C’est sous l’étiquette (d’ori– gine américaine) de « post-structuralisme » que Foucault, Derrida, Deleuze, Lacan ou Baudrillard ont été accueillis en Allemagne où ils se sont retrouvés face aux traditions d’analyse interprétatives et herméneutiques. Malgré la forte influence de quelques théoriciens français du discours, les diffé rences entre les deux champs semblent persister ce dont témoigne, entre autre, le rôle peut-être moins dominant de la linguistique en Allemagne. |

| Summary, etc. | What is French poststructuralism? on the notion of discourse in an international context This article accounts for the career that the French concept of discourse has recently seen in the German social sciences. While Michel Foucault is widely considered to be the major representative of French discourse analysis, he is not the only French theorist of the 70s to enjoy a certain success on the German intellectual scene. Under the (American) label of “poststructuralism” a number of theorists like Foucault, Derrida, Deleuze, Lacan as well as Baudrillard have been received in Germany where they have challenged the interpretative and hermeneutic traditions of analysis. Despite the strong influence of some French theorists of discourse in German discourse analysis, the differences between the two fields seem to persist, which may be indicated, amongst others, by the comparatively less influential role played by German linguistics. |
