Summary, etc. This article analyzes the vulnerability of farmers faced with the risk of diminishing water resources due to climate change. The study focuses on a set of small agricultural regions in Roussillon, delimited by the Têt watershed, and characterized by original forms of agrarian organization and agricultural water exploitation. Drawing on an empirical survey of 27 farmers, whose data were processed using textual analysis software, the analysis considers farmers’ vulnerability based on their experience of climate hazard and the solutions they have adopted to mitigate its effects. It then describes how they build strategies to adapt to the risk of decreasing water resources. The results of the geographic analysis bring out the different principles governing their action, showing the farmers to pursue locality-specific strategies to reduce their climate vulnerability.
