| Summary, etc. | RésuméEn nous appuyant sur divers travaux concernant les « écritures du moi », nous proposons de considérer une partie des graffiti relevés dans des cellules de prison comme l’expression d’une tentation autobiographique de la part des détenus. L’attrait pour la relation de certains événements de leur vie s’expliquerait par les conditions de ségrégation et de déni de leur identité. En analysant des dessins réalisés par un détenu sourd et muet de la prison de Brignoles, nous tentons de cerner la complexité des sentiments pouvant amener un individu en situation de réclusion à raconter sa vie et à se placer au-dessus de ses pairs. |

| Summary, etc. | Drawing on various several works dealing with the “writings of the ego”, the present article considers some examples of graffiti recorded in prison cells as the expression of the prisoners’ autobiographical enterprise. The attraction shown for certain events in their lives could be explained in relation to their conditions of segregation and the denial of their own identity suffered by the prisoners. By analyzing the drawings made by a deaf and dumb prisoner in the Brignoles prison, we try to understand the complexity of the feelings which could lead a prisoner to reveal his life and, in doing so, to place himself above his peers. |

| Summary, etc. | ZusammenfassungAusgehend von verschiedenen Arbeiten über „Schriften über das eigene Ich“ schlagen wir vor, einen Teil von, in Gefängniszellen vorgefundener Graffitis als eine Form des autobiograpischen Ausdrucks von Gefangenen zu interpretieren. Der Reiz besteht für den Gefangenen in der Beschreibung seiner Beziehung zu bestimmten Erlebnissen unter dem Gefühl von persönlichem Zerfall und Versagen. Die Auswertungen von Zeichnungen eines taubstummen Gefangenen im Gefängnis Brignoles ermöglicht es, die Komplexität der Gefühle zu erfassen, die es einem Individuum unter Freiheitsentzug ermöglichen sein Leben zu erzählen und sich so gegenüber den Gleichgesinnten höherwertig zu positionieren. |
