| Summary, etc. | RésuméIntroduction du dossier « Infrapolitique et mobilisations », cette contribution expose les divers usages et acceptions de la notion d’infrapolitique, ainsi que son utilité pour l’analyse de certaines formes d’action collective. L’auteur soulève la question de savoir si tout ce qui est infrapolitique est nécessairement discret ou dissimulé. Il suggère que les mobilisations demeurant en deçà du seuil du politique ont une signification qui leur est propre et ne doivent pas être envisagées simplement comme des mobilisations en échec ou en devenir. Au contraire, prendre en compte l’infrapolitique demande d’être attentif aux liens entre le politique et les expériences et pratiques du quotidien. |

| Summary, etc. | An introduction to the special issue “Infrapolitics and Mobilizations,” this contribution reviews the various meanings and uses of the notion of infrapolitics, and discusses its usefulness for analyzing certain forms of collective action. It debates whether mobilizations must be stealthy in order to be considered infrapolitical, and argues that mobilizations remaining beneath the threshold of the political have an import of their own, rather than simply being failed movements or movements-to-be. Being attentive to infrapolitics, instead, is an invitation to investigate the links between politics and everyday life experience and practices. |
