| Summary, etc. | L’œuvre de Ben Marcus serait le lieu d’une oscillation permanente entre le refus de toute mimesis et son exacerbation outrancière, dont l’enjeu serait l’esquisse d’une question problématique : question qui, si le travail d’écriture auquel se livre Marcus la fait indéniablement porter sur la langue, ses présupposés, ses limites, ne peut pourtant faire autrement que d’en redéployer l’espace, tout insituable qu’il soit. Si, ainsi que tend à le démontrer l’écriture de Marcus, on ne peut affranchir la langue d’un certain postulat mimétique qui semble la régir, peut-être est-il toutefois possible, en retournant la mimesis contre elle-même, d’entamer, voire de jouer une sortie hors des cadres conventionnels de la langue, dans son espacement plutôt que son éventuel dépassement. |
