Avec La Démoralisation, Christian Godin associe la crise morale contemporaine à l’exténuation du sens qu’impose le monde capitaliste organisé par la techno-science. Rémi Brague, dans Le Règne de l’homme, déplie une généalogie du projet moderne comme « anthropologie sans contexte » produisant un humanisme de la domination, dont l’échec s’avère inévitable. Ces essais ouvrent ainsi trois voies d’élaboration d’une eschatologie philosophique du temps présent. |

With La Démoralisation (The Demoralization), Christian Godin connects the contemporary moral crisis with the loss of meaning generated by the capitalistic world, ruled by techno-sciences. Rémi Brague, in Le Règne de l’homme (The Reign of Man), unfolds a genealogy of the modern project as a “contextless anthropology” that results in a humanism based on domination, the failure of which is now inevitable.
