| Summary, etc. | Résumé Ce texte a pour objet d’étude les dispositifs d’évaluation des assistantes maternelles (dans le cadre de procédures d’agrément, de suivis, de renouvellements, etc.), assurés par les professionnels de la petite enfance (médecins, puéricultrices, assistantes sociales) des services de Protection maternelle et infantile ( pmi). En exploitant les discours de ces praticiens dans le cadre de groupes d’analyse de pratiques ainsi qu’un certain nombre de dossiers d’agrément, l’auteur se propose de comprendre le malaise que semble soulever cette pratique d’évaluation. Au-delà des arguments développés par ces professionnels (flou des critères, insécurité due à l’impact de la subjectivité, paradoxes organisationnels, hétérogénéité des pratiques selon les services, etc.), d’autres facteurs expliquent la dimension de charge psychique que revêt cette procédure. S’inspirant des travaux de P. Fustier sur l’infrastructure imaginaire des institutions, l’auteur fait l’hypothèse que les contenus inconscients de l’infrastructure imaginaire de l’institution Protection de l’enfance (imagos archaïques de la Mère, fantasmes de séduction, de symbiose et de toute-puissance, pulsion d’emprise, ambivalence essentielle de l’adulte envers l’enfant) surdéterminent et infléchissent les diverses activités de la pmi, dont les pratiques d’évaluation. Enfin il est souligné l’impact de deux états affectifs : la haine, refoulée, envers l’enfant et le sentiment de culpabilité. |

| Summary, etc. | Evaluation in the agreement procedure of the kindergardens’ social workers : psychic burden and motherhood imaginary This text aims at studying the nursery assistant appraisal systems (in the frame of the procedure of agreement, or follow-up, or renewal, etc.) made by infancy workers (doctors, pediatric nurses, social workers) belongings to the Nursery and Child System. By treating these practitioners’ speeches in practice analysis groups, as well as a certain number of records of approval, the author proposes to understand uneasiness that this appraisal practice seems to generate. Beyond the arguments developed by these professionals (fuzziness of criteria, insecurity due to the impact of the subjectivity, organizational paradoxes, heterogeneity of practices depending on the services, etc.), others factors explain the mental load dimension that this procedure implies. Drawing his inspiration from Fustier’s works about the imaginary infrastructure of institutions, the author proposes as an hypothesis that the unconscious content of the imaginary infrastructure of the Institution « Childhood protection » (archaic imago of the Mother, seduction, omnipotence, symbiosis and psychic prison drive, essential ambivalence of the adult towards the child) determine and soften the « Nursery and Child System » different activities, among which the appraisal practices. Finally, the impact of two emotional states is emphasized : repressed hatred towards the child and guilt feelings. |
