Summary, etc. An analysis of migratory flows enables us to better understand whether or not their acceleration is favorable to the process of economic development and growth. The comparative study we conducted demonstrates that for Eastern Asia, migratory flows accompany a process of dynamic regionalization that improves general conditions for the development of the poorest countries, and conversely, that around the Mediterranean basin, the disorder that characterizes these flows as well as their unilateral character generally constitute a handicap.
