520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC.
Summary, etc. Several challenges face social workers in Quebec in their practice within the public service sector. The rules in place, influenced by the neoliberal current, impose a normative vision of social problems that generates ethical stresses for professionals. In addition, the many transformations that have taken place over the years within organizations have led to various issues at work: labor shortages, work overload, restrictive criteria for accessing services, management methods inspired by the New Public Management, accountability, etc. These issues have led to a loss of meaning at work and a lack of recognition for the profession. How can one find meaning at work within such a context? The perspective of groups at work seems an interesting avenue to explore.
