Summary, etc. The present research, centered around the tenets of data percolation methodology and the Churchill paradigm, aimed to create and validate a scale tailored to measure the construct of kindness in the workplace (KIW), extending beyond simply quantifying acts randomly. We undertook a comprehensive literature review, coupled with expert discussions, to identify the elements that determine KIW. We then collected the feedback from a diverse group of professionals to test the proposed, emerging model. The result is a multidimensional instrument that captures the three core components of KIW: empathy, inclusivity, and recognition of effort. This tool enhances the existing theoretical discourse on positive workplace behaviors and provides organizations with a metric to evaluate human performance, laying the foundation for custom interventions, and cross-cultural comparisons and industry benchmarks.
