| Summary, etc. | El aislamiento y la contención en psiquiatría son objeto de especial atención desde la ley de 2016 sobre la modernización de nuestro sistema sanitario. Las decisiones de aislamiento y contención tomadas por un psiquiatra deben ajustarse a criterios muy precisos. Al tratarse de medidas que prohíben la libertad de las personas, deben tener una duración limitada y estar sujetas a revisión por parte de un magistrado. Desde 2016, el Consejo Constitucional ha impuesto cambios al considerar inconstitucionales algunas disposiciones. La interminable crónica de estas modificaciones se expone en este artículo, así como unas propuestas para una amplia reflexión con el fin de acabar con la inestabilidad jurídica y profesional y poder mejorar las modalidades asistenciales. |
