| Summary, etc. | Depuis les années 2000, de nombreux travaux ont participé à inventer de nouvelles méthodes visant à saisir la dimension sensible des interactions humaines dans l’espace. Certaines d’entre elles laissent toutefois en arrière-plan les influences historiques et politiques du rapport sensible à l’espace. Bien que l’affectivité semble relever de l’individu, elle est en effet façonnée par une culture sensible et affective partagée. Le vécu sensible des lieux n’est pas seulement une réaction immédiate mais se construit aussi sur des souvenirs et des expériences accumulées. Ce rapport sensible révèle donc un enjeu de soi, contribuant à la formation d’une identité « en situation » qui évolue en fonction des contextes microsociaux et macrosociaux environnants. À partir d’une enquête menée à Rennes entre 2017 et 2023 croisant approches in situ et ex situ, nous avons mis en évidence l’importance de la constitution d’une culture sonore partagée, qui se construit au fil des interactions sociales et qui permet aux individus de définir un espace sonore commun, chargé affectivement et symboliquement. Afin de prolonger cette recherche, nous proposons un guide d’observation et d’analyse des situations sensibles en milieu urbain, pouvant permettre d’analyser la relation sensible des individus à leur environ- nement. Cette nouvelle perspective questionne également l’équilibre entre la distanciation et l’engagement du chercheur dans son terrain pour élaborer un nouvel objet de recherche en s’impliquant émotionnellement et affectivement. |

| Summary, etc. | Since the 2000s, numerous studies have contributed to developing new methods aimed at capturing the sensitive dimension of human interactions within space. However, some of them tend to leave the historical and political influences of the sensory relationship to space in the background. Although affectivity may appear as an individual matter, it is actually shaped by a shared sensitive and affective culture. The sensory experience of places is not merely an immediate reaction but is also constructed through accumulated memories and experiences. This sensitive relationship therefore reveals a matter of self, contributing to the formation of a “situated” identity that evolves in response to surrounding microsocial and macrosocial contexts. Based on a study conducted in Rennes between 2017 and 2023, combi- ning in situ and ex situ approaches, we highlighted the importance of establishing a shared sound culture, which develops through social interactions and enables individuals to define a common sound space, both affectively and symbolically charged. To extend this research, we propose here a guide for observing and analyzing sensitive situations in urban environments, which can allow for the analysis of indi- viduals’ sensory relationship to their environment. This new perspective also questions the balance between the researcher’s engagement and detachment in their fieldwork to develop a new research object by becoming emotionally and affectively involved. |
