| 520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC. | |
| Summary, etc. |
| 520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC. | |
| Summary, etc. | The joy of life is a work full of references to biblical writings in all their diversity. This article considers the relationship to these writings throughout the book, particularly in the second chapter (“The Holy Scriptures and life”, p. 33-66), where any purely instrumental use of biblical writings is criticised. We then turn to the eschatological perspective present in the book, and not only in the last chapter, which deals explicitly with this perspective, since in a theological context, the terms “joy” and “life” inevitably contain an eschatological dimension. The article concludes with a reflection on one of the central questions of the book, namely, “how to be human today”. |
