| Summary, etc. | La réfutation de la cosmologie-éthique grecque et celle de la théologie-éthique chrétienne ont inauguré, à partir du dix septième siècle, la philosophie moderne, celle du sujet souverain (R. Descartes) de la liberté (J.J. Rousseau) et celle de la philosophie humaniste (E. Kant), qui ont fait surgir la révolution et les droits de l’Homme : fondement de notre conception du progrès et de la civilisation. Au dix neuvième siècle, les philosophes du soupçon démystifieront le socle de l’idéologie idéaliste et la métaphysique de la subjectivité (F. Nietzsche, M. Heidegger) ainsi que la conquête du capitalisme libéral (K. Marx). Après la réfutation des illusions et la fin des idéologies, l’homme moderne individualiste narcissique et incertain subit une nouvelle aliénation, celle de l’Avoir à la défaveur de l’Être. Ce qui incite certains à se demander si un deuxième humanisme ne serait pas à réinventer (L. Ferry) et certains autres de se demander si les grandes sagesses ne gagneraient pas à être revisitées (K.Jaspers). Le psychologue cambodgien n’échappe pas, dans la conceptualisation de sa thérapie, à cette interrogation qui dévoile le meilleur et le pire de chaque culture. Cet exposé aura pour objet la singularité dit « sujet » en occident et sa rencontre avec le bouddhisme hinayana dans la perspective de faire apparaître certaines divergences et certaines convergences, dans le respect des différences. |

| Summary, etc. | Refuting the Greek cosmology ethics and refuting the Christian theology ethics gave rise, starting in the 17th century, to the modem philosophy of the sovereign subject (R. Descartes), of liberty (J.J. Rousseau) and that of the humanist philosophy (E. Kant) which brought about the révolution and human rights: foundation of our concept of progress and civilisation. In the 19th century, the philosopher of suspicion demystified the base of the idealist ideology and the metaphysics of subjecrivity (F. Nietzsche, M. Heidegger), as well as the conquest of liberal capitalism (K. Marx). After refuting the illusions and at the end of ideologies, narcissistic individualist modern man, unsure of himself, underwent a new alienation, that of Having rather than Being. Which makes some people wonder if a second humanism should not be reinvented (L. Ferry) and certain others wonder if it would not be a good idea to revisit the great popular wisdoms (K. Jaspers). The Cambodian psychologist is not spared, in the conceptualization of his therapy, this questioning that unveils the best and the worst of each culture. This paper has as its subject the singularity of the “subject” in the West and its encounter with Hinayana Buddhism with a view to bringing ont certain divergences and certain convergences, in considération of différences. |
